A graduate of Parsons School of Design, her work has been exhibited at Miami Art Basel, The Smithsonian Folklife Festival, and the Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival, and has appeared in VOGUE, VICE, The Christian Science Monitor, and other international publications. As the founder and mentor of La Rampa Photo Retreats, she guides photographers in exploring Brazil’s complex beauty—helping them refine their artistic identity through narrative development, sequencing, and immersive storytelling.
Raphael Durão is a designer, creative strategist, and art director of La Rampa Magazine, specializing in branding, UX design, and visual storytelling. With over 15 years of experience managing creative projects in the third sector, he has collaborated with organizations such as Banco do Brasil Foundation, the United Nations, the Brazilian Navy, and the Rio de Janeiro State Environmental Institute. A graduate in Social Communication with a master’s in Environmental Education, Raphael merges aesthetics with deep narrative thinking, crafting immersive visual experiences that connect culture, language, and design. As a creative partner at Storm Design, he has developed branding systems and identities that shape how organizations engage with their audiences. At La Rampa Magazine, he leads the artistic direction, curating editorial concepts that explore the intersection of photography, cultural narratives, and visual expression.
Stephen Digges is a photographer, filmmaker, and educator with over 25 years of experience documenting humanitarian issues, cultural narratives, and conflict zones across the Americas, East Asia, and Africa. His work has appeared in major outlets, including National Geographic Television, Al Jazeera English, and The New York Times, blending technical mastery with a deep understanding of visual storytelling. A graduate of Parsons School of Design, he has refined his craft through Toscana Photographic Workshops and the Steve McCurry Workshops. A seasoned traveler, Digges has collaborated with frontline organizations in some of the world’s most complex regions.
